The Center of Family Law and the Rights of the Child
The Center of Family Law and the Rights of the Child is one of the units of the Institute of Legal Studies of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
The Center' s research is focused on the classic part of civil law, i.e. the family law, concentrating especially on foster care, matrimonial property relations and legal aspects of medical assisted procreation. The members of the research unit carry on research concerning also personal civil law such as legal capacity to enter into legal relations and mechanisms of the protection of the rights of a child, including international standards.
